Greg Noll—perhaps the greatest big wave rider of all time—was a pioneer who fearlessly charged Waimea Bay, Outer Reef Pipeline, and Makaha Point. He surfed without a leash, a rescue team, or any modern safety equipment, cementing his status as one of the most legendary figures in surf history.

Now, up for auction, is a hand-shaped 11’4” Outer Reef Pipeline Gun, a modern classic shaped by Greg Noll himself in the early 2000s. This board is an exact replica of Noll’s 1964 elephant gun, the very board he rode on that historic day at Outer Reef Pipeline.
